Calling all talent! Help raise money for the Vici Musuc Deoartment. All bc a part of the Pioneer Days Festival on Saturday, September 20!

The Music Department is hosting a talent show during the fall festival next week! Please consider performing. First place receives a prize! We are looking for all kinds of different talents. Can your dog jump through hoops? Can you sing, dance, or play an instrument? Can you stand on your head? Do magic? Come perform!!! If you feel like performing isn’t in the cards for you, still come watch the other acts because the winners will be chosen by who has the most donations in their box. All monies raised help support the music departments trip to Branson this coming summer where the band and choir will be performing. The choir is performing at the Dolly Parton Stampede and the band is performing on stage with the Hughes Brothers.

We look forward to seeing you on Saturday, September 20th @ 4:00 pm during the fall festival!

Update from OHP about the Minco School Bus crash.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol continues to investigate the Minco school bus crash from Monday night on SH-152 near County Street 2760.

Our preliminary information is that the school bus driver tried to avoid a deer, and ended up hitting it, causing the bus to roll one time.

Four students and one adult were ejected from the bus. Two students were treated for minor injuries, two others for more serious injuries. Two adults were treated for minor injuries, and one adult was admitted to the hospital in critical condition.

We are grateful to all our first responder partners in Caddo County for their help in treating and transporting patients and helping to clear the roadway.
