Are you ready for our brand new Silky Yak DK??!! We are headed to this weekend for the NC Yarn Tour! We hope to see you there this weekend all day Friday and Saturday.

We will have our new Silky Yak DK, a wonderful blend of 30% Superfine NSW Merino, 40% Silk, 30% white Yak with 246 yds/100g
It is a sumptuous blend of super soft, extra fine non superwash merino wool, silk and yak. The merino provides warmth and stretch to the yarn while the mulberry silk gives good tensile strength and a smooth luxurious sheen. The yak fibres adds a certain exotic interest to this yarn and also a surprising softness quite similar to alpaca.

We will have a trailer full of all of other bases including our brand new Natchez fi*****ng, 50% Fine Superwash Merino and 50% Pima Cotton, 437 yds/100g

Warm weather knitting just got a whole lot cooler thanks to this lovely blend of Pima cotton and merino wool. Its soft, cool hand and beautiful drape makes it the perfect option for tops, sweaters, wraps and shawls. When dyed the cotton yarn remains its natural shade of cream giving the yarn base a soft heathered look.

In case you haven’t heard, yak wool is the new cashmere!

Everyone is loving the softness and drape of our Yak and Yak DK! They are both a wonderful blend of Gray Yak, Merino and Silk. We have now added a new blend with our Yak line, Silky Yak DK which uses a White Yak. It takes color beautifully! We have a new shipment in of the undyed base. This week we will be busy getting yarn dyed and ready for our fall shows. We will have it at our next trunk show at July 18th&19th. and July 25th&26th .
