Doja Cat is setting the record straight after jokingly calling her last album a “fart” in her “New York Times” profile. The “Jealous Type” singer explained in a new video posted to her Instagram story, “I meant that it was a release and a relief for me. I wasn’t saying that it was bad. When you fart…you feel better. You’re releasing gas. And, to me, that album was gas.” When Doja made the remark about her hit album “Scarlet,” which featured songs like “Paint The Town Red” and “Agora Hills,” she described it as something she “just needed to get out,” which had some fans thinking she hated the project. But, she continued saying “Scarlet” was a necessary experiment that returned her to her pop era. Doja Cat’s newest pop album “Vie” drops on September 26th.

Mariah Carey only does iconic things and that includes performing in the Amazon rainforest. Organizers of “Amazônia Live – Today and Always” announced the “Type Dangerous” singer will headline the September 17th show. To make things even more flashy, Mimi will be performing on a massive floating stage inspired by the Victoria Amazonica, a symbolic regional plant along the Guamá River. The show’s purpose is to raise awareness about protecting the rainforest just ahead of November’s 30th United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP30). Organizers said Carey will sing at sunset while local acts like Dona Onete and Joelma bring the spirit of Pará. “With the conference taking place in November, 'Amazônia Live – Today and Always' with Mariah Carey spotlights the need to keep the forest standing,” they share.

Mariah Carey will headline the Sept. 17 Amazônia Live – Today and Always Concert in the Amazon rainforest, where she will perform on a floating stage.
