It's not unheard of to see Eric Church hanging out at his downtown Nashville bar, so this pop-up surprise wasn't unusual, or was it?
The crowd at Chief’s got excited over the weekend when Eric Church hopped up on stage with the band to perform his hit song “Springsteen.” Except it wasn't him.
The Chief's doppelganger was Cody Martin, the frontman for an Eric Church tribute group called Take Me To Church. The band had performed at Chief’s the night before, and as they were leaving, the band on stage just happened to be playing “Springsteen.”
As Cody made his way to the stage, the crowd began to grow with fans who thought he was Eric Church. He even sounded like him!

Flood relief benefits continue to be announced in Texas after the devastation during the July 4th weekend in Central Texas. This is not only good news for those looking for relief, but for those looking for opportunities to help. It also turns out these benefits are resulting in some once-in-a-lifetime lineups, and all for a good cause.

The Robert Earl Keen-organized benefit on August 28th at the Whitewater Ampitheater in New Braunfels sold out almost immediately. Along with a host of other names, Tyler Childers, Cross Canadian Ragweed, and Miranda Lambert pledged their time to the event. It won’t be the only benefit Miranda Lambert will be participating in.

Miranda Lambert, Parker McCollum, Kelly Clarkson, and Cody Johnson will headline the "Band Together Texas" benefit at Austin's Moody Center on August 17th.

Over the weekend, Chris Stapleton brought out Miranda Lambert as a surprise guest at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California.
The two recently released the very first duet, “A Song To Sing,” and performed it live together for the first time!
“We’re gonna try this thing on,” Chris Stapleton said as he welcomed Miranda Lambert onstage at SoFi Stadium.
Miranda Lambert was a special guest of George Strait as well for two beautiful renditions of his hits “Run” and “How ‘Bout Them Cowgirls.”
