Naomi Judd's two-part Lifetime docuseries The Judd Family: Truth Be Told is dropped over the weekend.
In one scene, Naomi Judd's widower Larry Strickland confirms that that his late wife once fired a gun at him over his infidelity.
"Well, it really happened," he says. "That's all I can say. That's all I'm gonna say. It happened."
In the TV Movie based on the memoir, Naomi (Kathleen York) shoots Larry (Bruce Greenwood) after finding out about his infidelity ... a scene that Larry Strickland watches in the new docuseries.

Naomi Judd's song "Have Mercy" may have become her widower's anthem at least once ... 'cause he confirmed that she once fired a bullet at him.

Wynonna Judd has always been open about her tumultuous relationship with her late mother, Naomi Judd — and one source of discord was the truth about Wynonna’s biological father.

In the new Lifetime docuseries The Judd Family: Truth Be Told, Wynonna, 60, recalled spending the first three decades of her life believing that her father was Naomi’s first husband, Michael Ciminella. Naomi married Ciminella at age 17 after getting pregnant with Wynonna, but she didn’t tell her daughter he wasn’t her biological father until Wynonna was 30.

Johnny Rodriguez, a pioneer in country music, has died. He was 73 years old.
Rodriguez, who was one of the first Hispanic singers to enter the genre. His daughter announced his passing in a heartfelt post on social media.
"It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Johnny Rodriguez, who left us peacefully on May 9th, surrounded by family," wrote his daughter Aubrey.
“Dad was not only a legendary musician whose artistry touched millions around the world, but also a deeply loved husband, father, uncle and brother whose warmth, humor, and compassion shaped the lives of all who knew him."

All eyes were on Ella Langley last week heading into the ACM Awards as the most nominated artist!

Look alike contest have been popping off everywhere since the Timothée Chalamet one last year and now this country singer was the subject of one.
There was a Morgan Wallen Look-Alike contest on the University of Tennessee’s campus where over 300 people showed up to take home the title of “Looks The Most Like Morgan Wallen” and the $100 prize.
The first round featured contestants explaining why they think they should win, with one saying he was a “medium ugly man with a mustache and a mullet,” and another claimed that he had been called “Morgan Walmart” countless times out at bars.
Crowd applause levels decided who got to move on to round two. In round two, Morgan-Wallen-wannabes went one-on-one naming songs by the singer.
