Matt Walsh rationalizes cancel culture

There is a difference between reasoning and rationalizing. Reasoning is the process of weighing arguments and reaching a conclusion after though and comparison. Rationalizing is adjusting reasoning by cherry picking and sophisms to justify a prejudiced conclusion.

Cancelling is wrong whether it comes from the right or the left.

Who's to blame?

Tyler Robinson, the assassin that killed Charlie Kirk was by all metrics the dream child of the conservative right. Yet he turn out to be a cold blooded assassin. Everyone is trying to blame...whatever it is to blame for this deranged person's action. But who's to blame here?

Did Tyler Robinson's parents fail? They raised their boy in a very traditional conservative, God-fearing family with the values the conservative right say should be taught to every child.

Did his church fail? I will not even consider that. I know a lot of Mormons and their teachings are solid on morals and respect for life.

Did his education fail? He briefly went to Utah State University, a CONSERVATIVE college. There are thousands of people that went and graduated from that university and are decent, productive human beings.

Onle one person pulled that trigger, Tyler. It wasn't his parents, his church, or his university.

In totalitarian regimes artists cannot make jokes about their dictators. ABC suspended Jimmy Kimmel's show for making a joke about Donald Trump. It's the second comedian taken off the air for mocking the President.
