This month, we’re celebrating a business that has become part of the heart and soul of our community: Texas Donuts.

Our June cover features Dr. Jean Rivera and Dr. Hoang Ton, the owners of Texas Donuts, alongside many of Vienna’s beloved community leaders and residents, including Mayor Linda Colbert, who proudly support the local businesses that make our town so special.

For years, Texas Donuts has been much more than a place to grab coffee and a sweet treat. Through their kindness, generosity, and unwavering commitment to giving back, Jean and Hoang have touched the lives of so many throughout Vienna.

For nearly 40 years, the Vienna Choral Society has been bringing the community together through the power of music. 🎶✨

What began in 1987 as a local choir supporting Town of Vienna events has grown into a vibrant musical family of more than 100 voices, inspiring audiences across the DMV with performances that uplift, connect, and celebrate community.

From classical masterpieces to contemporary favorites, VCS continues to create unforgettable moments while welcoming singers of all experience levels — even “shower singers.” Because at the heart of it all is a simple belief: music has the power to heal, unite, and raise spirits.

For nearly 25 years, Paris Jacobs and the Jacobs family have helped shape a community through swimming, water safety, family connection, and service. Through Machine Aquatics, Machine Swim School, and Machine Performance Center, they have created more than a nationally recognized program — they have created a place where families grow together.

From young swimmers taking their first strokes to athletes competing at the highest levels, their impact continues to ripple throughout Vienna every single day.
