When I listen to a new album, I like to listen to it all in one sitting so that I really feel the flow of songs. I feel like albums are meant to be listened to in this way. The band clearly had a vision for a track list and it’s my duty as a listener to hear it all the way they intended. However, ...

The Music Or The Misery is back and ready to share new music with you!

This decade was a pretty great one for new music. While I know for sure my top albums/EPs of the decade list is very biased, here at the top 20 albums that came out from 2010-2019 that meant something to me. It was crazy to look back on the past 10 years and comb through the music that has been the background to daily life. These songs have been on a near constant loop so much so that they are ingrained in my memory in a way that can’t properly be explained. Each has the power to take me back to exact moments in my life, but also has the power to continually inspire me towards the future. Music is so fu***ng cool. I love it so much and don’t know what I’d do without it.

Please note I lumped all of Jetty Bones’ EP’s together because I firmly believe that when listened to together creates one of the most powerful musical experiences on earth. I’m very much looking forward to what new music then next decade holds!!

Without further ado, here are the albums that defined the last 10 years of my life. They all mean a lot to me.

A lot of albums that were integral to the development of my musical taste turn ten this year. To celebrate, I'm lauching a series called "On The Ten Year Anniversary..." Throughout the course of this series, I will be reflecting on various albums, both in terms of what they mean to me and the impact they had on the musics industry. Without further ado, here is the first installment!

Three weeks ago, Infinity on High turned 10 years old! After hundreds of listens, I finally sat down and reflected on the album and all it did for Fall Out Boy.

Be sure to check it out!

Got an album you want me to review for the series? Let me know!

Editor's Note: I'm beginning to feel quite old this year because many of the albums that I grew up with are turning 10. To celebrate the albums that helped shap...
