La Tasse de Cafe' KVPI Tune-in to "La Tasse de Café" every Monday through Friday morning from 8:00-9:00am on KVPI AM/FM Call in at 337-363-2124.

Since 1966, La Tasse de Cafe is one of the longest running live call-in shows in Acadiana. It is the only Bi-lingual call in show in the state now on the air five days a week from 8-9am with Hosts Charlie Manuel, Mike Perron and Mark Layne. We have callers calling in as far away as Australia. The show has been honored and recognized by the broadcasters of Louisiana for its contributions to our French culture by awarding us the "Uniquely Louisiana " award in 2020.

Sunday is St. Medard Day.

St. Medard Day is celebrated on June 8 each year. He is a 6th-century French bishop known for his piety and miracles, particularly his ability to forecast weather. According to legend, if it rains on his feast day, it is said that the next 40 days will be wet; if it is good, the next 40 will be fine. St. Medard is also the patron saint of farmers and is venerated for his strong leadership and pastoral care.
