Arctic air is set to move in behind yet another shot of light to moderate snow expected on Saturday. While it is still too early to predict snow amounts, we do have increasing confidence in the arctic air behind it.

From Saturday afternoon to Monday afternoon:

🌡️Actual air temperatures will be in the single digits and teens for highs, and below zero for lows.

🥶Wind chills will be well below zero for the majority of Indiana throughout this same time period

By Tuesday, we rebound back into the 20s and 30s bringing us back to more “normal” conditions.

~

Weekly timeline so everyone is following:

1. Snow system moves in Thursday PM into Friday AM. Widespread 2-5” of accumulation expected. (See previous forecast)

2. Another snow system moves in during Saturday, bringing us chances for more accumulation. Totals not yet known. - Stay tuned

3. Behind Saturday’s system, cold air arrives and sends us on a free subscription to Antarctica for 2-3 days.

4. By Tuesday, it’s over.
