From our very own flock this spring, we hatched this handsome Blue Partridge Brahma—and he’s already showing us he’s going to be a big boy! 🐓💙

✨ Fun Facts about Brahmas:
• Known as the “Gentle Giants” of the chicken world 🐥
• Roosters can weigh up to 12 pounds and hens up to 10 pounds
• Their feathered legs and calm nature make them farm favorites
• Excellent cold-hardy breed thanks to all that fluff
• Originally prized in the 1800s for both meat and eggs

Yesterday slipped by, but we can’t let it go without celebrating our beautiful boy, Rip! 🎉🐾 He turned 6 years old and continues to fill our lives with so much love, laughter, and his big personality.

Rip is loyal, talkative, playful, and has the energy of a puppy even at six. We are so thankful for every day with him and can’t wait for many more adventures together. 💙
