My weight has been a struggle my whole life. Food has always been my biggest addiction.

Sad? -> Food

Celebrating a big win? -> Food

Tough day with the kids? -> Food

Just had my best sales day ever? -> Food

Just found out the big business partnership I’d been working on for months fell apart? -> Food

I finally feel like I’ve found a winning combination of mindset shifts, healthy coping mechanisms (that isn’t food), balancing hormones and lifestyle changes that are allowing me to still live, still eat good food (just not nearly as high quantities or frequencies as in the past) and still perform at a high level in my business and seeing the weight shed off.

Optimization and using myself as the guinea pig and listening to my body to fine tune these changes is still a work in progress but feeling very accomplished and proud of myself today.

Next step for me is to be < 250 lbs by April!

Happy Birthday to one of my ride or die’s, the original gangster, Bella Alexandra Betzsold 🥰 Bella and I have shared a special bond from the very beginning, being silly together, she’s the same thrill seeking goober like me riding rollercoasters at Disney and just loves spending quality time with her Dad, doing his hair and fake makeup and taking silly selfies together. Hopefully that last picture of us during Christmas this year leaning away from taking a selfie with me isn’t something that sticks long term cause I genuinely love this girl with all my heart and never want her to stop taking pictures with her old man ❤️

She got golf clubs and gear for her birthday and Christmas this year and wants to start taking lessons and maybe even going to junior tournaments in the near future and not going to lie the memories of those junior golf tournaments that I played in growing up (although I started much later than 8 years old) has me remembering some of the best memories of my life and thinking about being the parent now walking the course, talking in the outdoors, helping her work through the same mental battles that the game of golf will inevitably hand you has me so excited.

I can’t wait to see what this girl accomplished throughout her life. For those who know her know that she is a force to be reckoned with, fearless and bold. A natural born leader and a friend to all.
