Our cable network did an update this morning. We have found some boxes did not do the update. If you find you are having an issue with some channels not showing and black screen. Please unplug your box from the power and plug it back in and let it recycle. This reboot has cleared the issue. We are sorry for any inconvenience you may have had.

Remodel update: Cabinets are all installed as well as the countertops in both buildings. Flooring and doors are installed. Touch up plaster and painting are taking place. We still have some electrical and some small tasks to finish. It looks like we are still on pace to move in the beginning of May. Stay tuned for the finished photos and our official move date.

Latest update on our construction project. Painting has started and some cabinets are set. Projected flooring next week. The drive-up office has new windows and is getting ready for paint. Stay tuned for the next update. Projected move in date is the end of April or beginning of May.

iVinton is looking for an IT Network Technician

Is responsible for, but not limited to:

The Network Technician installs new software releases and system upgrades, evaluates, and installs patches and resolves software related problems. Performs system backups and recovery. Maintains and assists with all aspects of the City Network, Communication network, inside and outside plants. Maintains data files and monitors system configuration to ensure data integrity. Help business operations groups utilize information systems to improve their efficiency. Ensures computer equipment, hardware and software are updated to meet organizational needs. Develops and implements policies and procedures to ensure that systems support the organization’s business requirements and meets the needs of end users. Defines system requirements based on user/client needs, cost and required integration with existing applications, systems, or platforms. Defines technical standards and functionality tests. Familiar with advanced concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on significant experience and judgment to plan and accomplish.

Associate degree (two-year college or technical school)-Preferred but not required. Working knowledge of IT networks required. Work experience preferred but not required. Proven working knowledge of MS Office. Server, Router knowledge. Handheld tablet and laptop experience needed. Web design knowledge & maintenance helpful, but not required. A+ Certification preferred but not required.
Excellent city benefits, including IPERS. Salary based on experience.
