Meet your friends at June 14.

Then join for a scenic walk over the Lesner Bridge with family & friends as we celebrate VDRF’s 100th vessel removal! ⚓️
1-4 PM 📍

Founded by veterans and fueled by a passion for protecting our local waterways, is a nonprofit dedicated to removing abandoned and derelict vessels from Coastal Virginia waters.

Their mission is simple: healthier waterways through vessel removal, community outreach, and environmental education.

Every donation, volunteer effort, and event directly supports cleaner rivers, bays, and coastlines for future generations.
To date, VDRF has removed 100 abandoned vessels from our waterways.. and they’re just getting started! 🩵

On June 14, our community will walk together across the Lesner Bridge in support of cleaner waterways, coastal awareness, and the people helping protect them. This family-friendly 1.3 mile shuffle begins at 1PM and ends waterfront at Dockside with live music, food, drinks, and good vibes all afternoon. ☀️

A waterfront walk, live music, seafood, cold beers, and more! 🇺🇸

Gather your family and friends for inaugural Sunk Ship Shuffle! Family-friendly 1.3-mile community walk across the Lesner Bridge and back — all in support of cleaner local waterways and celebrating VDRF’s 100th vessel removal!

After the walk, everyone heads back to for live music, food + drinks, Lynnhaven Lager specials, and a live BMW Z4 auction at 3PM!

🎟️ $40 tickets include:
🇺🇸 an American flag for the walk (Flag Day vibes)
🍺 a reusable VDRF cup
🌊 an afternoon supporting a great local cause
