Waak is an independent private television station that broadcasts in Maidan Wardak Province within the framework of the country's constitution and media law. It has possessed the title of the most powerful media outlet in Maidan Wardak Province in a short period of time because it has 12 different programs in a 4-hour uninterrupted broadcast period from 06:00 in the evening to 10:00 midnight. In addition to Maidan Shahr city, Waak TV has also brought Nerkh and Jalrez districts of Maidan Wardak Province and some parts of Paghman District of Kabul Province under its coverage.
