At GoGo Advertising, we draw inspiration from legendary pioneers like Walter Landor, whose visionary approach continues to shape the world of branding. His mantra, “Products are made in the factory, but brands are created in the mind,” resonates deeply with our mission to craft memorable, consumer-focused designs.
From Coca-Cola’s iconic packaging to Levi’s timeless “batwing” logo, Landor’s work reminds us of the power of simplicity and meaning in visual identity. Like Landor, we strive to build brands that leave lasting impressions and connect with audiences in powerful ways.
Walter Landor (1913–1995), a pioneering German-American designer, founded Landor Associates in 1941, revolutionizing branding with consumer-focused, minimalist designs. Influenced by Bauhaus, his mantra, “Products are made in the factory, but brands are created in the mind,” shaped iconic identities like Coca-Cola’s modernized packaging, Levi’s “batwing” logo, Bank of America’s approachable lettermark, and the WWF’s panda logo. For the Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART), Landor designed the stylized lowercase “ba” logo in the early 1970s.
