Video Horizons

Video Horizons just completed documenting the USS Enterprise from top to bottom. The USS Enterprise (CVN 65) will be inactivated today in Norfolk after 51 years of legendary service. The USS Enterprise is the world’s first nuclear-powered aircraft carrier. On November 25, 2011, Big ‘E’ celebrated its 50th birthday, making the carrier the oldest active duty ship in the U.S. Naval fleet. Great history, but the ship is showing it's age and will be disassembled, so this was a great opportunity for us to preserve the memories. The photos are stills from our video and a photo from the Navy.
