Robert’s love for radio came about a couple decades ago when he joined Viroqua Toastmasters, and became a public speaker. That love turned into a dream come true in 2007, when he became one of the original DJ’s for radiodriftless.org, the early internet incarnation of WDRT. The RLE was two hours of music, weather and sports. In 2010, he took the RLE to the FM airwaves at 91.9fm. Robert is also joi

ned weekly by Robbie Horsepower, ‘The Dean of Driftless Area Sports,’ and Chief Forecaster ‘Stormy’ Lambert. You’ll hear a mix of 70’s, 80’s, 90’s and today, all genres and a lot of ‘Weird Al,’ all crammed into two great hours… and just like Huey Lewis & The News said ‘It’s Hip to be Squared!’

Robert welcomes everyone to tune in on Friday afternoons, tell ’em “The Rocket sent ya.”

Co-op community! Round-up at the register in July for Driftless Community Radio: WDRT 91.9FM!

WDRT is a listener-sponsored, volunteer-driven, community radio station serving the Driftless Region. It offers a broad mix of cultural programming and provides opportunities for members of the public to produce their own programming.

💚Give Where You Live (GWYL) register round-up program is Viroqua Food Co+op's owner-driven giving program. It encourages register round-ups to support local schools and non-profits. Co-op owners nominate local organizations in October and vote on the recipients for the following year each November. Since the beginning of the program, the co-op, along with co-op owners and shoppers, has raised and donated over $275,000 for area organizations through GWYL.
