I came across a post warning about individuals impersonating FBI agents and going door-to-door in neighborhoods. These scammers are reportedly threatening residents and demanding money, claiming it’s related to an investigation or legal issue.

⚠️ Important reminders:
• Real law enforcement agencies like the FBI will NEVER show up demanding money or payments.
• They will not threaten you for immediate payment or ask for cash, gift cards, or transfers.
• Always ask for proper identification and do not open your door if you feel unsafe.

If someone comes to your door claiming to be law enforcement and it feels suspicious:
👉 Call your local police department immediately
👉 Do NOT give out personal information or money
👉 Report the incident so others can stay safe

Suspect Caught After Jumping Into Halifax River 🏄‍♂️🚔

Wild scene in Daytona Beach Shores 👀 A Volusia Sheriff’s Office deputy and a Daytona Beach Shores police officer took things to the water, using paddle boards to track down a suspect who tried to escape by jumping into the Halifax River.

After a short pursuit on the water, 28-year-old Chase Cruz was safely taken into custody once he reached the shoreline. He’s now facing charges of loitering and prowling, along with resisting arrest.

Definitely not your typical foot chase… this one turned into a full-on water pursuit 🌊

John Delage, 57, of Ormond Beach, was arrested Friday and charged with 40 counts of Possession of Sexual Performance by a Child.

Delage was taken into custody at the American Legion Post in Ormond Beach, where he served as the commanding officer. Staff cooperated fully with deputies.

The investigation began after the VSO Child Exploitation Unit received a tip from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children.

Robert Goodwin is facing serious allegations after investigators say he defrauded multiple families out of approximately $400,000 in connection with an international travel arrangement that never took place.

As the truth unfolded, victims realized they had lost significant amounts of money, leaving families financially impacted and searching for answers.

Overnight in Deltona, deputies arrested Milton Berrios-Ortiz following a violent domestic disturbance at his residence. Investigators say the suspect kicked in the front door, forced his way inside, and threatened family members with a knife. During the incident, deputies report he took a phone from the home to prevent a 911 call and threw a chair that struck a child in the head. - Before law enforcement arrived, the suspect fled the area on foot. Deputies launched a search that lasted nearly two hours, utilizing Air One aerial support and K-9 units. The suspect was eventually located hiding in nearby brush by K-9 Toki and surrendered without further incident. - Domestic violence incidents remain a serious concern across Florida, often escalating quickly and placing families, children, and first responders at risk. Last night, deputies responded to an occupied burglary on Prescott Blvd in Deltona. A resident reported walking into his bedroom and finding a former friend inside his home. The suspect fled but returned later, stealing jewelry.Today, during proactive patrol, a deputy spotted the suspect, Justin Braddock, in the city. He was taken into custody, and deputies found lock-picking tools and pieces of gold in his possession.TAGS:
