SCRAP TIRE DAY — You're invited, Waco!

The City of Waco Solid Waste Department is hosting Scrap Tire Day on Saturday, November 22th, from 7 am – 12 pm at 501 Schroeder Drive!

This day gives Wacoans the opportunity to recycle old tires while removing a health hazard from our environment. The environmental impact is more than removing ugly piles of tires.

Scrap tires are ideal breeding ground for mosquitoes, rodents, and other impacts.
All scrap tires will be RECYCLED and not sent to the landfill!

This event is only for City of Waco residents.

I'm pretty sure i'm going cuckoo. Yesterday when i got to work, our parking lot was full, so i parked around the corner. When it was time for me to leave, I didn't see my car in the usual area, and i thought my car was stolen! I was minutes away from a full on melt down, and then i saw it. lol. -chrissy
