Camp Details
Dates: June 22 - June 24th - 9am to 5pm (Lunch Provided)
Location: Robinson VFD
Eligibility: Incoming 7th–12th graders
Cost: FREE
Experience Needed: None — beginners welcome

Teen Disaster Preparedness Camp

We’re excited to launch the FIRST‑EVER Teen Disaster Preparedness Camp in our area! This FREE, hands‑on camp uses the national CERT (Community Emergency Response Team) curriculum to train incoming 7th–12th graders in real‑world emergency preparedness.
This is our first year offering the program, and we’re partnering with the Robinson Volunteer Fire Department, which will be hosting the camp.

What Teens Will Learn (CERT Training):
• Disaster preparedness & emergency planning
• Fire safety and extinguisher techniques
• Light search‑and‑rescue concepts
• Basic first aid & medical triage
• Leadership, teamwork & communication
• How first responders coordinate during emergencies
• Hands‑on drills and realistic disaster simulations

These are the same foundational skills taught to CERT volunteers nationwide.
