Free Comic Book Day 2025 has wrapped up and we had so much fun being part of this event celebrating all things comics! We also helped celebrate the 40TH ANNIVERSARY OF ! Our local comic shop goes above and beyond to provide a platform for us every chance they get, and we couldn’t be more thankful to be involved with comic community in Waco thanks to them!

Today was also special because it was the debut of our FIRST apprentice artist, Giselle Toby! She made an awesome Lady Avalion print and has knocked out a 4 page Lady Avalion short! She’s a huge anime and manga fan with a love for art! We’re lucky to have her and we’re stoked to help develop her skills and see what she creates! (Check out her YouTube Channel: Ayako.9)

We were able to meet many new and returning fans, including Sean, our newest self-proclaimed lifelong reader! We couldn’t have received a bigger compliment. Doing this is tough and it doesn’t always go the way you want or happen in the timeline you want, so believe us when we say your support is what fuels us.

We also got to meet fellow Wacoan and co-creator of Spider-Gwen, Robbi Rodriguez! Awesome to chop it up! Maybe you’ll catch us all at a drink and draw near you? 👀

On behalf of the team, thank you to everyone that showed up and celebrated comics with us.

Since time eternal (actually since 2002), the first Saturday of May has held a special place on the calendars and in the hearts of comic fans across the USA. That’s because it is and has been recognized as FREE COMIC BOOK DAY!

We’re beyond excited to partner with our local comic book store, Bankston's Comics-Sportscards as a vendor this coming Saturday, May 3!

Come out and see the work from our FIRST apprentice artist, Giselle Toby! We think she has great things ahead of her.

We had a GREAT day today at Bankston's Comics-Sportscards with our book signing for Lady Avalion #1! Met a lot of new people, caught up with some old friends and hopefully made some new fans. Thanks to everyone who came out to support us and the launch of our latest title.
