Norton’s high school football season is off to a delayed start. The district canceled Friday’s season opener against Northwest after multiple student-athletes were diagnosed with hand, foot, and mouth disease. School officials say the decision, made with input from nursing staff, puts student health and safety first. While disappointing for fans, the district thanks the community for its understanding and support.

Wadsworth and Brunswick battled to a 1–1 draw in boys’ soccer Wednesday night. Talk about evenly matched! Both goals were scored by number 11 on each side, and the stats were nearly the same. Senior midfielder Justin Lazzaretti told The Medina Gazette it was more about performance than the final score.

Calling on former WHS Soccer Alumni to attend our game on August 30. This will be a rematch of the District Final from last year against a very good Green team.
