Eighth grade students of Wadsworth Middle school were sat in Wadsworth High School this week due to heat issues in the Middle School. For the second half of their day, the students are expected to do work on google classrooms given by their teachers. The eighth graders transfer into the PAC from the middle school. They were brought to the high school at 10:45 a.m. and brought back to the middle school at 2:15 p.m. in time for dismissal. “It’s subjective perspectives on how comfortable it was or was not,” said Chris Robers, the Wadsworth Middle School Principal. “So we set a clear threshold that any time the outdoor temperature is forecasted to be 80 degrees or above, we’re going to implement our contingency plan, which is going to move our students to a different building within our campus.” The school is predicting that the AC Unit should be operational within 3-4 weeks.
