Andes Central will be celebrating Native American Week October 13th-16th 2025 with dress up days.
We celebrate Indigenous Peoples' Day to honor the history, culture, and resilience of Native American peoples, recognizing their contributions, inherent sovereignty, and the ongoing impact of colonialism.

On Monday October 13th at 1pm, we invite the community to the Andes Central Auxiliary Gym. We have guest speakers: Retired Master Sergeant Frances Dupris, Yankton Sioux Tribe Chairwoman Chelaine Knudsen, and will be honoring Vietnam Veteran Sharon Drapeau.

The Avon Pirates capped off their Homecoming week in style with a 60-6 victory over Andes Central/Tripp/Delmont/Armour on Friday night. The Pirates came out strong and never looked back, controlling both sides of the ball throughout the game. The win marks a high note for Avon as they celebrated their Homecoming, giving fans plenty to cheer about under the Friday night lights.
