Pwedeng middle child , pwedeng eldest... Pero ganon parin ang takbo ng buhay.. 😅💪🥺🤗❤️

Para sa mga Brad, Bobbie, at Bryan ng bawat pamilya.

Growing up as the middle child in a Filipino household often means learning to adjust. You’re “old enough” to understand, but still expected to give way because your younger sibling is “still young.” Somewhere in between, you learn to ask for less, stay quiet, and hear “ikaw na ang umintindi.”

Middle child syndrome isn’t just about feeling forgotten. It’s about being so used to understanding everyone else that you sometimes forget you deserve to be understood, too. You become independent not because you wanted to, but because you learned how to be okay on your own.

So this National Middle Child Day, here’s your reminder: you don’t always have to be the understanding one. Your feelings matter, your achievements deserve to be celebrated, and your voice deserves to be heard. You’re not just the child in between. You matter just as much.

Happy National Middle Child Day to everyone who quietly learned to make space for everyone else. This time, make some space for yourself, too.
