La taqueria at Boxyard RTP is everything y’all told me it would be! Small menu by Katsuji Tanabe that is made to order on handmade corn tortillas. (Partner)
My favorite meat is their chorizo with the green salsa, but I also tried my first cow tongue taco here and it was soooo goooood.
Options for gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan taco lovers too!

Don’t miss this one. It might seem a little pricey for a taco shop at first, but when you get a heavy taco in hand, it will make sense. These are loaded.

A hidden gem from some and an exciting destination to many, Deadwood is a restaurant in North Carolina that lets patrons experience the Wild West. We took the hour-and-a-half drive to Williamston from Raleigh to bring our two sons here, and it was worth it!

Although many of the amenities are currently under construction, we still had a blast and encourage you to visit as well, especially if you have a cowboy-loving child!

WHERE TO EAT IN BOONE! There are many memorable restaurants in Boone, North Carolina, that are worth a visit when in the high country. Boone draws in visitors from all over for its outdoor adventure, App State game days, and the local dining scene.

I love it for many reasons, but the food is what keeps me planning return trips. From cozy cafes to upscale mountain fare, Boone will feed you well!

FAMOUS NC RESORT! The Omni Grove Park Inn is an award-winning resort and spa in Asheville NC that blends history, relaxation, and luxury. It stands overlooking the Blue Ridge Mountains like a castle and makes guests feel like royalty. Built in 1913, it has hosted many notable politicians and celebrities over the decades and you’ll feel like one of them (I sure did!)
