December 2019 marks the 23rd anniversary of the launch of our headship company, Mindwatering. Back in 1996, we began in a tiny office that barely had enough room for our desks, a small mixing soundboard, a keyboard, and a noisy server rack, but we knew we wanted to serve others with integrity, excellence, and without compromise. Over the years we've expanded our tent pegs, sharpened our expertise, and have been honored to meet people that came in as clients, but have turned into genuine friends.

So we just want to say thank you for sowing into us through your work, your word of mouth, your trust, and your wonderful relationships.

We look forward to many more years to come!

South Main Studios specializes in recording voice work for commercials, television, and audio books, and recording and engineering music within a spectrum of genres.

We have a very comfortable, intimate, and laid back atmosphere. We offer over 35 years of live and studio sound recording/engineering expertise, in addition to over 25 years in promotional design. We also offer seasoned consulting in venue and stage lighting and live event video streaming.

Many of our wonderful music artists and band clients record with us because they've had a personal invitation or referral, but we do not limit our services to only people that we know, so please feel free to contact us if you're interested in having your project done at our studio. Recording happens over a lot of good conversation and getting to know each other through the long hours we work together on your project. You may come in as a stranger, but we hope you leave as a friend.
