Beggars Banquet is the premier Rolling Stones Tribute Band of the Carolinas. With nine performers on stage, (including keyboards, horn, backup singers, percussion and cello), Beggars Banquet is true to the spirit of the songs and brings all the musical bells and whistles for a live Rock and Roll show that is a unique "Stones" musical/visual tribute band experience.

Serving as the A2 (monitor engineer/patch guy) at FCR last night was pretty awesome.

Not only did it allow me to share the stage with 4 great bands, it afforded me the opportunity to watch Robert Turner perform his final show with Beggars Banquet two feet away from my mix position. This was a memorable moment.

It was also the final chapter in my own preparation to begin filling his shoes (but not his hat): my first gig as the new keys player for NC's premier tribute to the Rolling Stones is June 15.
