This is a 10x Timelapse of a mesocyclone with a very brief funnel cloud near the end. This is from that tornadic supercell on Tuesday when it was located over a little south of Wentworth, NC on 7-28-2026 between ~5:58pm-6:00pm EDT. The pink circle indicates our exact position at that time. Also included is the radar loop during the drone capture.

This is a 15x Timelapse of a tornadic supercell located over northern Burlington, NC on 7-28-2026 between 7:12-7:16pm EDT. We were positioned SW of the supercell, and it is traveling SE, so the general storm motion in frame is left-to-right. Throughout the timelapse, RFD wraps around the mesocyclone and carves into the warm inflow, evaporating cloud droplets to open a brightening clear slot behind the rotating wall cloud (seen to the left).

This is a 10x Timelapse of a tornadic supercell located about 4 miles east of Oaks, NC on 7-28-2026 between 7:42-7:56pm EDT. At approximately 7:51pm, a developing clear slot is observed followed by a few vortices underneath it. I was not able to verify rotation visually at the time of filming, so I did not report it to the RAH NWS.
