PLACE TRASH/RECYCLING CURBSIDE BY 6AM

THE STRIKE BY THE TEAMSTERS vs REPUBLIC SERVICES has ended after nearly three months. This means that beginning MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 22, regular trash and collection crews will be back at work.

The North Reading Department of Public Works (DPW) anticipates that there could be some changes to the routines established by temporary crews over the summer, and therefore requests that residents put both trash and recycling curbside by 6:00 AM on your regular collection day. Your trash and/or recycling could be collected earlier or later than it has been this summer.

If your trash or recycling is not collected on your regular day, please notify the DPW by calling 978-357-5260.
