It's been a while since I posted on here! I decided to take a pause on this amazing storytelling platform I built to focus on my new position with Freedom Boat Club, spending time with my amazing kids, and enjoy what's right in front of me.

But I do miss podcasting and showing up for Makers across our country SO much. I'm slowly re-entering and will be posting an interview once a quarter to get my feet wet.

I'm still cheering on all of the makers out there and I always will. Thank you for understanding and more amazing stories to come. Stay safe and healthy! ❤️

Thank you to Samantha York with 207tv for having me on the show Thursday evening. Got to meet some of my favorite people yesterday at , Kate & Jack with . I absolutely love getting to know others who are sharing stories of makers and these two are doing it worldwide.

If you haven't checked out their magazine and podcast, please do. I'm so happy they came all the way from Scotland and got to interview a few of my favorite Maine Makers and a few I've never heard of before! Always learning, always meeting new makers, the storytelling will always continue.

Memorial Day always hits a little differently for me. 🇺🇸

While today is about honoring the men and women who sacrificed their lives for our country, I wanted to recognize something I witnessed firsthand during my years working within the Department of Defense and intelligence community.

I remember organizing a conference at Spangdahlem Air Base in Germany, one of the last stops before many troops headed off to Afghanistan. One night my colleague and I grabbed a case of b**r, sat around together, and just talked. Real conversations. Stories about home, fear, hope, and heartbreaking stories about brothers and sisters they had already lost in war.

Those moments stay with you forever.

Cheers to the heroes who sacrificed everything for all of us here in the USA. You are never forgotten. ❤️🤍💙
