MOZA Vision GS Wheel

I’ve had this wheel for some time now and I must admit my other wheels have foreshadowed this one. I decided to bring it back out for tonight.

What I realized immediately is how slim the grips are and feel almost sharp in hand. It took awhile to get back used to it. The buttons still felt nice to click on and even though some may think the screen is a gimmick I still think it’s a cool and I nice touch. The build quality is solid too.

EWSimTools - Presence “Crew Chief Auto Manager”

What is CCAM?

Crew Chief Auto Manager is a free tool that automatically starts and closes Crew Chief when you run supported racing sims—no extra clicks, no background clutter.

Detects your sim when it launches
Auto-starts Crew Chief
Closes Crew Chief when you exit
Runs silently in the background
Currently supported sims:

iRacing
Automobilista 2
Assetto Corsa
Assetto Corsa Competizione
Assetto Corsa Evo
rFactor 2
RaceRoom Racing Experience
Le Mans Ultimate

I sometimes found myself forgetting to open Crew Chief some times before I start a race. Once I realize the race seems quiet and I’m not getting Crew Chief feedback it’s too late especially if it’s an online race. I also I wanted to contribute more to the sim racing community.

If you’re interested in trying it out and providing feedback, let me know!

ots of you ask about my FOV setup in AMS2
(The FOV police are probably on their way 👮‍♀️)
Rather than following a generic guide, I recommend experimenting to find the FOV that works best for you. I use real POV races as a reference point and adjust my settings to closely match. It's not about finding the 'perfect' FOV, but rather one that looks good to you.

Here are the default key button keys to familiarize yourself with in AMS2:

FOV Controls:
Increase FOV ……….. [
Decrease FOV ………. ]

Seat Controls:
Seat Forward ………. Numpad 8
Seat Backwards ….. Numpad 2
Seat Up ………………. Numpad 9
Seat Down ………….. Numpad 3
Seat left ……………… Numpad 4
Seat Right …………… Numpad 6

Camera Tilt Up ……. Numpad 7
Camera Tilt Down .. Numpad 1

Seat Reset ………….. Numpad 5

For my F1 view I definitely push the seat back and lower the seat. Once I’m in my a spot that looks similar to what the actual driver would see I start I tilt the camera to a see the horizon. I typically play with these setting until I am comfortable with it. Not because it’s right by calculators.

I hope this helps someone new to Automobilista 2 and I hope you find your correct FOV!
