Just 3 more days until our Hiring Event on October 11th! Participants in this event experience a significantly expedited application process by completing multiple application steps in the same day.

Deputy applicants ages 21 years and older are invited to complete the physical and written testing requirements for free during this event. In addition to completing testing for free, participants have the opportunity to meet our team, ask questions, receive more information on perks and benefits, and enjoy free lunch with us.

⭐ Event Details ⭐
📅 Date: Saturday, October 11, 2025
⏰ Time: 10:30am – 4:00pm
- 10:30am - 11:00am Check in and Meet and Greet
- 11:00am – 1:00pm Written Exam (tests for applicants interested in deputy positions)
- 1:00pm – 1:30pm Networking (and time to change clothes for physical testing)
- 1:30pm – 4:00pm Physical Test, Lunch, and Networking (physical testing for applicants interested in deputy positions. Testing takes less than 30 minutes per participant.)
🗺️ Location: Search and Rescue Building, 830 NE 7th St., Newport
🎒 What to Bring:
- Government Issued Identification
- Athletic clothes and shoes if applying for a deputy position
- Interest in joining our team as a Corrections or Patrol Deputy, Corrections Nurse, or Animal Care Specialist.

Dear Readers,

We are Erich and Wendy Knudson and are happy to introduce ourselves as the owners and publishers of Information Station. Let us tell you a little about ourselves.

Erich is the owner of Mr. Wizard, Inc. Rental Support Services. His Company specializes in Vacation Rental cleaning and support. Mr Wizard was started on April 1, 2010. Erich started the company to save jobs. Eight years later it has grown to be one of the largest vacation rental cleaning companies on the coast. He is also a web designer and skilled in many things such as, construction, mechanics and a number of other things. You could say he is a jack of all trades.
