VIDEO!!! Right now, Video is taking over all social media channels, and if you don’t capture your audience in the first 3 seconds, they are going to scroll right passed your content.

Find a hook, (heartstrings, humor, tips, knowledge…) whether it be tips for a certain category, or a product you’re launching, they need to know why they should keep watching as quickly as possible. How are you helping your audience? Our audience attention span is SHORT, so get that CTA right near the beginning of the video.

SHORT, concise videos will help your audience digest the info and possibly watch it again, this will cause the algorithm to push your video out to more people. 10 to 18 seconds in length is optimal.

If you can get your point across in less than 10 seconds, you triple the chance for people to watch your video more than once.

I’ve learned that when I share a reel, (without keeping in on my grid), I receive more eyeballs from non-followers. When I post reels to my feed, I get a lot of engagement from the people I know.

Depending on your goal, decide on how you’re going to share your video content. Regardless of my goals, When I share my reel to my stories, my engagement and video views grow significantly. Don’t forget to use the proper to target the right audience.

Your audience can tell if your post is mindless, forced or overly choreographed. Just be real. 👌
