Updated Ice Road Map for our ice road on Leech Lake:
- Green are plowed roads
- Red is Large Ice Heave- Do not cross that
- 28-32" of ice currently
- You still can get off road and move around, we will be making cutouts and smaller roads to structure
- Reminder that the Walleye Season Closes on Leech Lake Feb 23rd! Only two weekends Left
Walleye Bite: Still spotty, Majority of Fish are still being caught in the evening time: 18-25 ft of water. Fish aggressivly using rattle baits and they are still hitting that set line with a full minnow.
Perch Bite: Still strong across the lake. 12-20 ft of water, mud sand transitions are best. Full minnow on a set line, or your favorite smaller tungston jig with euros or minnow head.
Tullibee: Deep basins and steep breaks for finding these fish.
Eel Pout: Base of the deep breaks same depths as the walleye.
Panfish: Local area lakes have had good bites going on in the basins.

The Merit Lakeside Dining & Cocktails Open Thursday/Friday 4:00 PM-9:00 PM and Saturday 12:00 PM-9:00 PM. Bar is open after 9:00 PM until Close.
