While heavy rainfall and flash flooding still remains a threat, the severe threat is diminishing over northwestern Minnesota. Isolated strong wind gusts and small hail are still possible.

🚨 Important Update: Fireworks Postponed 🚨

Due to the incoming severe weather, we've made the decision to postpone tonight's fireworks in Walker to tomorrow, July 5th. Your safety is our top priority, and we want everyone to enjoy the show under clear skies.

Fireworks will be launched off the lake at Walker City Park. Viewable by land or lake. 10pm(dusk)
— The Rotary fish fry/beer garden unfortunately will not be able to host due to circumstances out of our control.

Temperatures will be on the rise in the coming days. Humid conditions Thursday with heat indices rising above 90 in some areas. 20-30% chance showers or t-storms late this afternoon and tonight parts of northeast ND and northwest MN. Chance of a few storms Thursday. The main chance of thunderstorms will come on Independence Day as a front approaches. We are monitoring for the risk of severe storms and heavy rainfall.
