Get ready for a FULL day of fun at the 40th Annual Ham & Yam Festival in Downtown Smithfield!

From sunup to sundown, the streets will be packed with excitement — kick off the morning with the Hog Trot 5K and Piglet Stampede, grab a fresh ham biscuit, and dive into a day filled with more than 200 vendors, amazing food, a huge car show, kids’ games and inflatables, sweet potato cooking demos, live wood carving, and of course… PIG RACES!

Music will be rocking all day long across THREE stages with incredible local and regional talent, all leading up to a FREE national headliner concert from Sister Hazel to close out the night!

This family-friendly tradition has been bringing our community together for 40 years, and this year is bigger and better than ever. You don’t want to miss the biggest party in Downtown Smithfield!

We’re off to an exciting start for this year’s Ham & Yam Festival — and it’s already shaping up to be our biggest yet!
With over 120 vendors already signed up, the momentum is strong and the excitement is real. And this year isn’t just any year… it’s our 40th anniversary, so we’re going BIG.
