Agilite is a Israel owned company that designs and produces Plate Carriers and Vests for the Israeli & US Military as well as Civilian use. The owner and employees are currently fighting in Israel as we speak so this process of becoming a Testing Affiliate has been slow and meticulous. After some weeding through all of the applicants, I was selected as a product tester. This unique opportunity I am very thankful for as they don't choose just anyone. I am also in a kind of a unique position. I have had 2 back surgeries and a heavy plate carrier has it's challenges as one can imagine. This being the case, I hope to use my back issues in helping the developers make a lighter weight plate carrier/vest not only for everyone but especially those who suffer from chronic back pain on a daily basis but also want to own a plate carrier with plates that will protect them if and when the need arises. Many forego plate carriers simply because of the weight involved. Many companies, including Agilite, have light weight plates and are constantly trying to make things lighter all the while keeping the protection at the same level or even higher.
