I’m pretty sure if I just focus on what I want and appreciate all the beauty and ease and love and options all around me, I’m pretty sure my life will just unfold beautifully and I’ll be just fine.

how many times have I heard words like that in a podcast but it never really sunk in and this morning it just hit me differently.

Parenting is the ultimate thankless job but I see you! The sacrifices, the late nights, the crying, the trying to be better and regulate your nervous system while you’re being screamed at, the times you made a delicious healthy meal that your kid refused to eat, the times they argue about brushing your teeth and you wonder why today is any different than every day.

This one’s to the parents and caregivers who are pouring into the next generation and healing themselves in the process.

I dare you to bring a gift for the parent. Next time you go to a kids birthday party. See what happens.

The game of Life: the original algorithm to hack.

Whether you’re in the digital space or the three-dimensional, learning to be aware of your feelings and reassigning your focus is the ultimate life hack.

A lot of people will read this and say something along the lines of, “Sarah, you’re just putting your head in the sand. You have to know what’s going on in the world and sometimes that is stressful.”

I do think it’s important to know what’s going on - and at the same time, I know I am not much use when I’m stressed, burnt out and operating from a place of panic. Personally, I *am* putting my head in the sand and focusing on building my influence and building my finances aka building my power.

Someday I’ll be able to write a $700k check to Planned Parenthood and make a big difference.
