Intuitive Path Birth

It's hard for me to believe I'm coming up on 6 years of starting my business with just determination, hope, and the belief that it would all work out. Not only has it become wildly successful from a business perspective (yay woman-owned businesses! yay following your dreams!), I actually spend nearly every day doing what I love and what fulfills me as my deepest self. I have found my niche and my calling, and I pushed through all that self-doubt 6 years ago to get here. I'm celebrating this milestone with a full rebranding of my business and it has been such a fun experience delving into what makes me me. When your business isn't selling a "thing" and, instead, you're selling your expertise and experience, it's kind of like selling yourself (but not in a weird way, I promise). 😉
Fun fact: I used to work in International Trade Law and it pretty much sucked the soul out of my body. This heart work that I do now has refilled my soul cup to overflowing and I am both grateful and proud of myself for listening to my intuition. This concept is controversial in both mainstream society and the birth world, but it embodies how I feel about birth down to my very core - and the more births I'm a part of, the deeper I believe this. Over the years, I have supported women through home births, scheduled cesareans, emergency cesareans, unmedicated hospital births, hospital births with epidurals and other medications, and variations of births in between. The women with the most positive and satisfying birth experiences did not have the same TYPE of birth - rather, they were supported in their choices and they were respected. There is no one-size-fits all when it comes to birth, and my role is to support the birth that is best for you, not the birth that someone else thinks is best for you.

Give it a try! Reframing productivity in this way has greatly helped with my sense of purpose, and has eased the anxiety of our need to always be doing more...and doing it better.
