Not everyone enjoys the cuisine of a five-star restaurant.

Some individuals don’t like the artistry of Picasso’s paintings.

There are those who aren’t fans of Taylor Swift or Beyoncé, yet both artists consistently still fill arenas.

The takeaway is…

Our work is a form of art, influenced by individual tastes and preferences. Not everyone will resonate with what you create or your approach, but there will always be those who appreciate what you do.

Focus’s on that. The right audience will always continue to find you. Loyal supporters will always be more important than a sea of indifference. 

Rejection is a real part of being a creative. Don’t let the opinions of a few cause you miss opportunity to take care of the people who appreciate you and what you bring to the table in the future.
