Happy spring?!??? I know we all woke up to a little bit of snow today but that’s OK. We got this. The new issue just came a few minutes ago and I’m so excited for you to read it. We have several talented new writers, got to feature the incredible Alison Meyer Photography, and a new fabulous baker!

I feel like for the last few years my message has been the same, we’re all doing the best we during these times. But that is all we can do! Thank you for supporting my advertisers, thank you for reading this magazine, and thank you for sharing it as much as you do. I hope your day is filled with a little bit of love and sunshine and inner peace! ❤️🦋❤️🦋

I just wanted to share something cute and positive today. The last photo is not mine, but I forgot to take a before picture of this wreath. I got it at target and I thought it was cool as a witchy wreath but for some reason, I just imagine it enchanted!!! I just finished this today, the only thing missing was I cannot find my neon green moss to glue onto it so I just spray-painted it a little green! Yes, there is a ton of glitter on it, and it is held there by vanilla scented hairspray.

On this cold and foggy day, I present to you the January February issue! Through throughout the years, my creative team has come up with some great content, but I believe this issue is one of the very best. Never has there ever been a call to develop your inner peace more and I feel like this magazine is a great source of positive action you can take!

A special thanks goes to all my wonderful advertisers and some of the new ones as well! Please make sure you always remember them in any of your local shopping needs. We are all doing our best in these crazy times and your local support means more than everything!

Lastly, peep my at home magazine rack with all of the issues over the last 11 years. How crazy is that! Now it’s time to hit the road and get delivering! Much love to you all. I hope today something truly wonderful happens to you!!!

Whenever the world feels really heavy, I like to do a secret act of kindness. I normally wouldn’t share this, but I taught this to Tony and he too has had a really fun time participating in it. I recently learned when signing up to volunteer for the inland oasis food shelter that often people in need don’t have access to spices. It’s just something that made me really sad because one of my biggest joys is adding garlic powder to everything. Walmart currently has a ton of their spices on sale for about a dollar and so we went and bought $40 worth of spices and will be dropping them off. Will it solve world problems? No. Do I feel like I did something worth a damn? Yes. It didn’t break the bank, but I can’t help but hope that when someone reaches for their lemon pepper or maybe make something on a cold night, they’ll feel the love by using spices that I bought when I was feeling so sad just trying to make the world a better place for someone else. You can do this at the coffee drive-through, pick up an extra bag of dog or cat food for any of the shelters, A book for a free book library, Or sometimes I’ll just randomly text someone how much they mean to me. At the end of the day, it’s how much we love each other and practice that love when we don’t feel like it is what truly matters.

Subscriptions are going out this week which means the online issue is up! I hope you love it!

I hope this adds a little bit of happiness and wonder to your day! The winter issue just arrived. I hope you find a little bit of whimsy, local interest, learn something new, see an awesome recipe to try, and feel a little bit of light in your heart after reading the magazine. My writers and advertisers really care about doing the best they can during this time and I hope it shows. Now I gotta get a little delivering done before the VIP event for show and also attend tomorrow for any other goodies! I’m so proud of Gayle. Thank you all for continuing to read and support this magazine. Lately I’ve been feeling down and I have never received more random calls and emails out of the clear blue about people expressing their love for the magazine. I can’t thank you all enough.
