Speedy’s also announced North American tour support from .jpeg & . They’ve added new shows as well, in Chicago, New York, and Philly—which is this Friday at Free at Noon.

In addition to previous merch drops—Rabbit Rabbit LPs in a handful of colors, CDs, tapes, playing cards, stationary, and t-shirts by and —they’re also reuniting with for a third limited edition hot sauce. With a “carrot asado”-inspired flavor profile foregrounded by farmers market carrots, Carrot Carrot also features zucchinis and cucumbers, ripe paper lantern habanero peppers, fire roasted tomatoes, and yellow and green squash. The first single “You S02” and its music video, directed by Elle Schneider, are out today. The video is an homage to John Carpenter - The Master of Horror’s ‘They Live,’ written about the frustration of learning an artist you admire has abandoned their ethics.

The band has 2 new t-shirts designed by Mattie Lubchansky Comics, & a playing card deck designed by Sadie. Mirroring Martinez’s mother’s symptomatic inability to express herself through her voice, Petty’s lyrics are scattered throughout in fragmented bits, not recognizable as themselves. The poems were written in eight resolute days during which Martinez questioned her success as both a daughter & caretaker.
