"Once, while conducting a teacher training session, a group of senior educators gave me a standing ovation. They said I had clarified concepts they had not fully understood even after their B.Ed. and years of teaching. That moment was humbling and unforgettable—it reminded me that true expertise lies not just in knowledge, but in making knowledge accessible. It reinforced my commitment to clear communication, lifelong learning, and service through education. That applause was not for a lecture; it was for connection, clarity, and contribution".

Ranjit says, "I did not choose curriculum publishing—it chose me. A childhood love for writing, a self-made GK book in Grade 4, and a discontinued magazine in Grade 11 laid the path. Though I trained as an engineer, editing and authorship became my life’s calling. My inspirations are many: Steven Rudolph for educational vision, Siddharth Basu for presence and articulation, Xavier Sir for refined English, Gandhi for moral courage, and Einstein for turning complexity into simplicity. Each of them shaped a different part of me—editor, teacher, communicator, and seeker".

There's a way to take corrective action. Although it is a thin line that we tow, we must remember never to hurt someone's dignity in the process.

People often think that attrition is the responsibility of human resources. The truth is far from reality.

Attrition is a shared responsibility between HR and operations. It is imperative that every organisation takes this seriously and trains their leadership to ensure that they reduce attrition.

Major General Neeraj Bali speaks about this topic on Arun Bhagwati Chronicles On YouTube.

The Indian Army leaders and corporate leaders of today exhibit distinct differences in their leadership styles, values, and priorities.

Indian Army leaders are bred in a culture of sacrifice, discipline, and selflessness. They lead by example, inspiring their troops with courage, conviction, and compassion. Their decision-making is guided by a strong sense of duty, loyalty, and national pride. They prioritize the greater good over personal gain.

In contrast, corporate leaders often prioritize profit, growth, and shareholder value. While some may demonstrate visionary leadership, others may be driven by personal ambition, wealth, and status. Their decision-making may be influenced by market trends, competition, and short-term gains.

The Indian Army leaders' emphasis on teamwork, camaraderie, and esprit de corps is unparalleled. They foster a sense of belonging, trust, and mutual respect among their troops. Corporate leaders, on the other hand, often focus on individual performance, productivity, and innovation.

While both types of leaders have their strengths and weaknesses, the Indian Army leaders' commitment to service, honor, and country is a valuable lesson for corporate leaders. By incorporating these values, corporate leaders will be able to build more sustainable, ethical, and socially responsible organizations.

Life in the Indian Army is not as we imagine it to be. It is not a dreamy life or a story as portrayed in films. This is a profession made of battle hardened men & women of our country.

The Indian Military Intelligence is a sophisticated well charged system that has been working relentlessly for years now. They have risked their lives to protect the people of our country. They are more often than not quiet and unassuming well trained officers and soldiers who put their lives at risk so that we as a nation can function peacefully. Our enemies across the borders have been put under the microscope and neutralized many times.

In my conversation with Major General Amitabh Joshi, V.S.M (Retd.) we dived into many such action packed true stories that kept me gripped to my chair.
