Take a look at our latest project for the Wings of Honor Museum!!!
BT-13 Maintenance Update ✈️
The Wings of Honor Museum’s BT-13 is nearly ready to take to the skies once again! After sitting idle for a few years due to COVID, we are now wrapping up the final steps of maintenance.
A very special thank you goes to Pilots Ally of Walnut Ridge, who have worked tirelessly on the aircraft and are partnering with us as our official maintenance partner. We also want to extend our deepest gratitude to the Joseph family, whose generous donation covered the cost of repairs, and to Walmart of Paragould, who contributed $1,000 toward our maintenance fund. Your support makes all the difference.
We are currently waiting on one final part to be repaired or replaced before flight testing can begin. Because of the BT-13’s rarity, sourcing parts can take longer than expected—but that’s part of the journey of keeping a vintage warbird flying.
If you would like to help ensure our BT-13 remains in the air for years to come, donations can be made to our Vehicle Maintenance Fund at First National Bank of Commerce of Walnut Ridge, or in person at the museum during your next visit (please note it is earmarked for the maintenance fund).
Thank you to our community for your patience and support. We can’t wait for you to see—and hear—this historic aircraft in flight again soon!
