The Filipino-American club is building their ‘tahanan’ (home) and celebrating Filipino culture right here on campus.

Founded in 2021, the club continues to grow, hosting monthly meetings full of energy, connection and Pinoy pride.

The series main attraction is the mobile game that started the franchise and has been downloaded over 30 million times worldwide. The game centers around the Umamusume as they train to achieve their dreams, all of which are based on real life Japanese race horses. The game even faithfully recreates many of the events surrounding them and fleshes out their unique personalities by basing them on the behaviors of their real life counterparts.

What’s an Ajor? Who am I “popping in” with? And seriously… what’s a Lost & Found Oruction?? 👀

For months, Mt. SAC’s corner marquee— aka the “Minitron”— left the campus guessing with its glitchy messages. After long delays the sign is finally (semi) back in working order as of Sept. 28.

But repairs weren’t cheap: the Minitron originally cost over $100,000 to install in 2017, and inflation is making upkeep harder every year.
