Hi Folks Here is a Spotify link to a Francesca Records Playlist Created just for you. It is " The Complete Gerry Beaudoin-David Grisman " playlist. It was these two album that made my career move beyond New England for the first time. Minor Swing was on a small record label from Rhode Island North Star Music in 1993. It had blues and swing guitar icon Duke Robillard as another special guest. Then in 1996 I made the second one, Just Among Friends , for a record label in Nashville called " Honest Entertainment". That album had jazz guitar legend Bucky Pizzarelli as my guest, Both were totally acoustic recordings, no amps allowed, and both featured mandolin virtuoso David Grisman as my special guest. I had jammed wth David one night at Nightstage in Cambridge MA and he said , " Kid, if you ever want to make a record call me. " When North Star gave the go ahead he was so gracious and accomadating about everything from his fee to making sure I was in control, I had a dominating producer until I told him to buzz off, supporting me in every decisiom I made even if the producer wanted to fight me. David stood with me. It was a great experience! My association with David also got me on the famous "Family Tree of the Church of the Grateful Dead" as a disciple. Its a great story and maybe someday I'll document it on a Facebook post but from the bottom of my heart, "Thank You David Grisman".

Francesca records recording artist Fred Lipsius is a three time Grammy winning jazz saxophonist from the pioneering jazz - rock group Blood, Sweat and Tears!

The Fred Lipsius Trio recently appeared as the special guest of Boston Jazz Radio ,GBH at their live studios on Boylston Street Boston MA. Francsca Records recording artist and jazz guitarist Gerry Beaudoin and acoustic bassist Justin Meyer rounded out the trio!

Hi everyone! The folks at Francesca Records would like to share some good news and share some music with you this morning. Francesca Records recording artist Gerry Beaudoin's song,
" Joanne Hears The Blues" from his Francesca Records release " The Gerry Beaudoin Trio: The Return" was chosen for use in Anne Rice's Talamasca: The Secret Order TV series. It is a spinoff of the highly successful Annie Rice books and movies based on her original blockbuster novel " The Vampire Chronicles". The series premieres October 26. We are not sure which episode it is in yet but we will let you know when we find out. Enjoy the great Harry Allen on sax, he's the best, and the Gerry Beaudoin Trio!

Gerry Beaudoin is an award winning jazz guitarist whose music and jazz guitar perfomance has appeared on over fifty recordings and DVD's. His music regularly is used in film and on television. His music has been placed on the Grammy Awards ballot three times in his career.
