Still a bit messy But Our wonderful B-Room upgrades are well underway now,,My good friend and Audio tech par excellence Joe Pires wiring the new patch-bays / configurations for SPL MC 2.1 and Soundcraft 6000.
Jim Williams Re-Caps and Mods on Master Section and Modules should be back in another week,,Once those are back its buttoning up and ready for sessions. Our A-Room of course loaded to the chandeliers with classic Vintage and cutting edge Modern instruments / equipment. Yet B-Room has its BAE / Neve 1073 x 2, 1272 Neve , Purple MC76, Spectra Sonics 610, Elysia XPressor Mix Compressor, Troisi EQs, Focusrite Red 2 and 3 Compressor / EQ, Dramastic Obsidian Mix Bus Compressor , Pluto Plate EMT Reverb , Whisper Room 8ft x 10ft Iso Booth and of course Neumann ,Flea, Shure and anything else we can find interesting from the Mic Locker for use , Same as Gtrs, Basses,Amps etc,,
Also available full compliment of redundant and vast Plug-Ins available in A Room also in B-Room,,ProTools HDX 2018 Ultimate
Finally incredible mixing results due to the Inscrutable monitoring systems via Amphion One 18s, NS-10s and EAW,, Amplification provided by Macintosh,Bryston and Hafler

Just a sincere Shout Out to my Friend Tim Dove at Ernie Ball for keeping me in the Artist Relations long game of faithful endorsement / friendly help ,long after the high profile limelight tours and show biz visibility peaks. Truth is I probably go thru more Strings and Things from Ernie Ball in producing bands these last 20+ years than Ever. i have been an EB user forever = solid, consistent and vitally good sound in every pack! With almost 35 gtrs and basses and other stringed things here at Woolly Mammoth Sound its a great feeling to know a fresh set is within reach to keep inspired sonics jumping through the speakers and making the best impressions,,no matter what style of music you make.

A very sad day as most post punk aficionados know already,our anti-gtr hero Andy Gill / Gang of 4 has passed.
For me,,I fell deep and complete for this band's Entertainment debut and witnessed a searing and sonic performance at the notorious Rat here in Boston 1980(?)..they created a cultural and musical revolt that I still hold as a daily production and writing compass for relative productions and political kindreds

Happy New Year from the Dave's. The ridiculous looks on our faces is semi-shock at realizing that Jan 1 is our 20th anniversary!

Thank you to everyone who has ever set foot in Woolly....musicians, producers, engineers, tv/film folks. We both LOVE doing what we do, and have been absolutely amazed and feel so very lucky to be able to continue to put microphones in front of people and make music with them.

20 years is a long time, but man, it sure went by in a flash.

We have often had New Years Day parties, and we were planning on doing one this year, but have had to postpone due to some travel plans. There may be one later in the year, or perhaps we'll wait til next year when Woolly is finally old enough to drink.

There was a big fire right across the street from Woolly early this morning. Thankfully nobody was hurt. Woolly was untouched, although we are without power for the time being.
