GOOD FOOD, GOOD MOOD

Kennedy Middle School has a newly renovated kitchen and café.

April Liles, the Director of Food Services for Waltham Public Schools, invited city officials to a grand opening celebration on Friday.

Kennedy kids checked out the new space and enjoyed student favorites and farm-fresh local produce for lunch.

It’s been an exciting time for April, who was recently recognized by General Mills Foods for her outstanding contributions to school nutrition in Waltham. Congrats!

THURS, 11/13, 6:30-8PM: Watch City Watches Movie Night presents a special evening in celebration of NOIRVEMBER: special guest curator, Eric Shoag, will be introducing and screening the
noir classic DETOUR!

Directed by Edgar G. Ulmer in 1945, this stylish and gripping noir follows a road trip gone wrong: the life of Al Roberts, a pianist in a New York nightclub, turns into a nightmare when he decides to hitchhike to Los Angeles to visit his girlfriend. Working on a bargain-basement budget, Edgar G. Ulmer turned threadbare production values and a seedy, low-rent atmosphere into unforgettable pulp poetry!
