30 days til show start. I work 6 days a week so basically Ive got 4 Saturdays to get this whole thing rolling. Time to roll up my sleeves.

Ok. I have received 100's of messages, letters, phone calls... I'm pretty sure at some point someone flew over with an airplane and banner. 😁🤣 expressing the sadness about my closing the show. At the time I honestly thought I was going to be needing to move so I wanted to give everyone notice early. It looks like now that I'm not going anywhere for a bit. I guess the neighborhood is stuck with me. So lets do a halloween challenge. I want all my true fans of the show to post and share their favorite picture of you or family at the show here and on all the Facebook groups your in to let them know Halloween at least is back on. I will try to be running by Oct. 4th. Who's with me?

I started this journey because I needed a release, a coping mechanism if you will, to keep my brain occupied. Once I seen and was able to share with so so many the joys of watching these lightshows, I was hooked. The laughter, the excitement, families dancing in the street, couples proposing, the birthdays and all. Such good memories. Unfortunately, I believe I have worn out my welcome in the neighborhood, while simultaneously putting a strain on my own family. So with that said, I will be officially closing the house of lights. This decision did not come lightly, and to be honest with you, this is one of the hardest posts, I believe, I've had to type out. Last year I've had the police called on the house so many times I cant count. I've had viewers screamed and cursed at by a neighbor. It has caused financial insecurity, and family strains. All for holiday lights that were meant to bring happiness to all. I never asked for donations, never wanted to be famous, and always willing to give what I can. But if I could ask 1 thing today... could you remember us in your prayers and maybe 1 day things will work out to try again.

Happy 4th of July weekend. Our house will be up and running til the 7th ( or so) 7:30pm to 11:30pm this weekend and 10:30 pm on weekdays. Come on out out, and dont forget to tag us in any of your photos and vids, it sure helps to spread the word through algorithm. God Bless the USA

Unfortunately we had a power disconnect possibly due to a lightning strike. Most everything is operating ok, except my center screen. It appears the raspberry pi that controls it has been fried and will continue to play the stored information, but I'm unable to send new information. With all of this said, I can't upload the New Years playlist. Our lights will be on until next weekend but it won't be the New playlist I created.
