Revealing the Arcane: Nature’s Alchemy 🧪

After 28 months, one of our Blue Star Leopard Wrasses is officially transitioning into a terminal male.

Two years ago I started with two baby females. Right now one is in that fascinating, muddy mid-transition phase as his new adult male patterns emerge.

Photo 1 captures the "fins up" display of this biological shift. Be sure to save Photo 3 for a side-by-side comparison with his female counterpart and our 10-month-old regular Leopard Wrasse (M. meleagris).

I'll be posting updates as he reaches his final terminal colors, so stay tuned! Watching these changes happen in real-time is the best part of the reef hobby. ✨

Welcome to the left side of the Coven 🔮✨

Finally got the new frag tank settled in alongside the GSP lagoon and the planted setup. It is a lot of glass to keep clean, but it's worth it. 😁

How many tanks are you currently running?

Flynn (my Papuan Toby Puffer) vs. a frozen clam. 🥊
Fun fact: Puffer beaks never stop growing, just like rabbit teeth! They hard foods to keep them filed down naturally.
Rate his technique 1–10! 👇
